My local café has been the source for a couple of commissions. Shortly after the cafe opened (it’s only 250 metres from my home) I was chatting to the owner and mentioned that I was an artist.
She asked if I would be able to do some paintings with a Parisienne theme. A few ink sketches later and we had a plan.
The final painting was executed on three separate canvases each measuring 1200mm x 1200mm. I used acrylic paint to speed up the process and also to make moving the work in progress around easier.
